The Carvoeiro Black & White Night has earned its place as the must-attend free event that marks the start of the season, this year, on Saturday the 21st June of 2025

Locals and visitors alike are invited to take part in the festive atmosphere that fills the heart of Carvoeiro — from Largo da Praia, through Rua do Barranco, and all the way down Estrada do Farol. The only rule? Dress in black and white to match the energy, décor, and dazzling performances throughout the night.

Whether you live in the Algarve or are planning a holiday, mark your calendar: the best way to welcome the summer is by joining one of the region’s most iconic events — the Carvoeiro Black & White Night!
This vibrant and free street party transforms the heart of Carvoeiro into a lively stage of music, dancing, and entertainment for all ages.

Since 2014, this special night has brought together thousands of people, wearing black and white, and blending in with the stunning decor and performances throughout the village, in a unique atmosphere stretching from the Largo da Praia through Rua do Barranco and down to Estrada do Farol.

The evening kicks off with family-friendly entertainment including clowns, street performers, dancers, and live music on the main stage. As night falls, the beach becomes the center of the party, hosting some of Portugal’s top DJs in an unforgettable open-air setting.
