51º Volta ao Algarve - bike race returns 2025
The 51st edition of the Volta ao Algarve will take place from February 19 to 23, featuring 8 WorldTour teams. This year, the race presents a renewed route, starting in Portimão, with approximately 746 kilometers of intense competition until the final stage at Alto do Malhão in Loulé, which will be contested for the first time as a time trial. In addition, the cyclists will face a new and demanding stage finishing in Faro, and the climb to Fóia in Monchique will be tougher than in previous years.

He will be joined by other renowned cyclists, such as Filippo Ganna and Julian Alaphilippe, who will also be riding through the Algarve's roads in the coming days.
