When we agreed to start searching for a townhouse or apartment on the Algarve coast, we started with a car trip from San Antonio, close to the spannish border and driving west direction to Sagres. That cover the whole Algarve coastline.  We spended some days on this, and it was a very important part of the project so we could select which part of Algarve we should focus on. We ended up in Carvoeiro. a relatively small place with activities year around, close to everything, limited traffic downtown, beautiful beaches, a lot of nice restaurants.

A norweguan lawyer/Real Estate Agent, Arild Haugan, adviced us to contact Claudia Boto at Vernon. We also talked to two other Real Estate Agents, but Vernon was serious, effective, and someone we could trust 100%. The process with Vernon ended up in a very nice townhouse we now have moved into and we’re very satisfied with everything.

We can just recommend Vernon. They’re the best!

Hei Claudia, 

Når vi bestemte oss for å søke bosted på Algarvekysten i Portugal startet vi med å gjøre en bilreise fra spanskegrensen ved San Antonio og vestover helt til Sagres.

Med det ville vi dekke hele Algarvekysten, og vi brukte noen dager på å stoppe opp på alle stedene ned mot havet langs kysten.  

Carvoeiro peket seg ut som det stedet vi ville fokusere på videre. Passe stort, nærhet til det meste, lite biltrafikk i sentrum, flott bystrand, mange gode restauranter.

Vi ble anbefalt Vernon og Claudia Boto av den norske advokat/eiendomsmekleren Arild Haugan. Vi snakket også med et par andre meglere, men Claudia hos Vernon virket svært seriøs, effektiv, og virkelig til å stole på. Prosessen med Vernon og Claudia førte frem til et glimrende rekkehus som vi nå stortrives i.

Vi kan bare anbefale Vernon på det varmeste. Velger dere de som megler er dere i de beste hender.

When purchasing our apartment in Val de Milho the service from Claudia and the team was excellent. Claudia's knowledge of properties which were suitable for us enabled us to find a holiday home that would be perfect for our needs. She was brilliant with every stage of the purchase providing all the contacts and information necessary for a smooth completion. This included her suggestions for a lawyer, a currency exchange company, an insurance agent and a bank. This was a completely new venture for us but because all of our queries were answered quickly, honestly and professionally we were able to complete within six weeks and are now enjoying our 'Home in the Sun'.

We would certainly use Vernon again and would highly recommend their service.

Vernon's were recommended to me by a work colleague who had bought a house in Carvoeiro. I gave basic criteria (in this case two bedrooms, two bathrooms) from which Vernon presented a portfolio of properties,all,of which were interesting but very different. Much thought had gone into the selection and created a delightful problem for my family who all had different ideas before settling on the one property. The key attribute however was trust.  Not being Portugese, the buying process is a step into the unknown but they told me what to expect, in writing, and that was what happened.
