Winter Time Begins in Portugal – 25th October 2026

On Sunday, 25th October 2026, Portugal officially switches to winter time, marking the end of daylight saving time.

At 2:00 am in mainland Portugal and Madeira, clocks will go back one hour to 1:00 am. In the Azores, clocks will change from 1:00 am to midnight.

This means an extra hour in bed and brighter mornings, although the evenings will start getting darker earlier.
